The Counseling Center has a team of care managers, who are dedicated to successfully connecting students to community resources when appropriate. Our care managers maintain an extensive network of local off-campus mental health resources for students who would benefit from treatment that is beyond the scope of services at the Counseling Center, such as more frequent, open-ended, or specialized care. Our care managers will help identify the best off-campus resources for your needs, taking into consideration your preferences, location, and financial situation/insurance coverage.
If you are already connected with the Counseling Center, ask your counselor to help you schedule an appointment with a care manager. If you are not yet connected with the Counseling Center and you desire an off-campus referral from us, the first step is to schedule a brief assessment. If you prefer to find an off-campus provider on your own, here are a few helpful tips & tools for finding a community provider from our care management team that may assist you as you navigate this process.

We value our community provider partners and are always looking for new referral sources who are in-network with insurance or offer a sliding-scale rate.
