The Counseling Center has five funds from which you may donate to help the Counseling Center and its efforts to support students and the university community.
Counseling Center Fund
The Counseling Center Fund was established for the purpose of a general operating fund to support the University of Maryland's Counseling Center.
Counseling Center Professional Development Fund
The Counseling Center Professional Development Fund was created to provide advanced professional programs and training opportunities for Counseling Center Staff.
Mental Health Coalition Grants Fund
The Mental Health Coalition brings together students, staff, and faculty who share a passion for mental health to provide collaborative leadership in fostering a culture of mental health and wellness inclusive to the entire campus community through broad communication, campus-wide programming, and advocacy. The MHC Grants Fund supports student organizations bringing mental health-focused programming to campus through the provision of micro grants.
Returning Students Program Scholarship
The Returning Student Scholarship was established to provide need-based financial support for students enrolled at the University who are at least 23 years of age who are returning to school.
University of Maryland Help Center Peer Counseling Gift Fund
The Help Center Hotline Peer Counseling Fund provides a multitude of services to the campus community, including a telephone crisis intervention hotline, peer counseling, and an outlet of campus resources. The Help Center Peer Counseling Fund supports these valuable services so they may continue to assist those in need.
