What is the Embedded Services Program?
The Counseling Center has collaborated with schools/colleges at the University of Maryland to provide clinicians that work specifically with students and directly in those schools/colleges. These embedded counselors provide the following services:
- Mental health appointments
- Consultation with faculty and staff who are concerned about a student’s mental health
- Outreach programming tailored to the needs of the students in specific schools/colleges
